Following your treatment, you will notice an immediate improvement in the contours and fullness of your face. You may even experience a bit of a slimming effect at the donor site! It is normal for a small reduction in volume to occur over the following months as some of the tissue is naturally absorbed by your body, but the remaining living adipose tissue will gradually repopulate the area. Most of Dr. Zuliani’s fat grafting patients will see their final results at about nine months after their initial procedure.
Fat grafting is a very safe, natural, and effective method for restoring facial volume and enhancing the natural contours. Results are permanent but may, on some occasions, require a final touch-up treatment after one year.
